This is my inspirational/motivational page cause sometimes in life when we feel too weary and sad, when we feel the world has turn its back on us and we have no one to talk but in reality there is always somebody willing to listen to our problems. Just open your eyes, ears and mind and be in great communication with God.

For God love us unconditionally without being judgemental, without being hypocrite and snob all we have to do is invite him to be the center of our life. Yes we have our shortcoming and weaknesses but then He is good he forgives us everytime we fall into temptation and welcome us back into his arms again.

Where could you find that kind of love? Human love has condition and limitation but then we can’t expect it to be perfect after all cause we are individuals born to be an imperfect being if you know that then you can love yourself totally too.

Here lies some poetries, stories and quotes I have found in the web that I hope you will find some inspiration as you go about your daily life.

Meeting God
by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown

There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted ! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever. When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you so happy?” He replied, “I had lunch with God.” But before his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen!”

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, “Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?” She replied, “I ate Twinkies in the park with God.” But before her son responded, she added, “You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”

Control of Your Heart
by: Terri McPherson, , Source Unknown

A wise and understanding heart does not repay a hurt with a hurt. In doing so, the heart is diminished. Fissures form. Love leaks out. Every pain given in return for one received, changes the contents of the heart. It is no longer defined by love, wisdom and understanding. It is redefined by the bearers of hurt and hate, pain and prejudice, meanness and madness, sorrow and sadness. You give away control of your very own heart.

The despair of being hurt is healed by overcoming it, not clinging to the hurt and inflicting more of it on the world. When darkness is added to darkness, no one can see, no one can love. Everyone loses.

Love is not always warm and fuzzy. Sometimes it’s the integrity we hold on to when we’re tempted to strike back. Sometimes it’s the honor that keeps us from exchanging the valuable contents of our heart for the harsh satisfaction of lashing back.

No, the way of love is not always easy, but when night falls, dawn is assured.

The integrity and honor of a wise and understanding heart, rises with the sun of a new day.

“Because you have asked for understanding to discern judgment. I have given you a wise and understanding heart.” 1 Kings 3:11-12

Living in love and loving life.

Can You Ever Love Me for Me?
by: Miriam Campo, , Source Unknown

Can you ever love me for me?
For the me that I am true and true
Can you love me with my imperfections?
Can you see me as I am and not as what you want me to be?

Can you ever love me for me?
For the me that makes mistakes and speaks without thinking
Can you love me even when I am unreasonable?
Can you see me as I am and not for the Angel you seek?

Can you ever love me for me?
For the me that cries when a stranger child is hurt
Can you love me when I am sad without me having a reason to be?
Can you see me as I am not as what I once was?

Can you ever love me for me?

Don’t think that no ones loved you,
because they’ve turned away.

Don’t feel they didn’t care for you,
because they couldn’t stay.

Don’t damn the world for not returning
the love you feel you’ve given.

Don’t hate the one that you were yearning for,
because he couldn’t make a commitment.

Just think of him as experience,
and think how much you’ve grown.

Think of him as the sacred prince
who placed you on a throne.

Think of all your times together,
feeling closer since you’re apart.

Think of your plans of now and forever,
and hold them in your heart.

And don’t let yourself feel so much hate
when he’s no longer your other.

For when you’re both at Heaven’s gate,
that man will be your brother.

Letting Go
by: Dee Edgett, Source Unknown

There was once a lonely girl who longed desperately for love. One day while she was walking in the woods she found two starving song birds. She took them home and put them in a small glided cage. She nurtured them with love and the birds grew strong. Every morning they greeted her with a marvellous song. The girl felt great love for the birds. She wanted their singing to last forever.

One day the girl left the door to the cage open. The larger and stronger of the two birds flew from the cage. The girl watched anxiously as he circled high above her. She was so frightened that he would fly away and she would never see him again that as he flew close, she grasped at him wildly. She caught him in her fist. She clutched him tightly within her hand. Her heart gladened at her sucess in capturing him. Suddenly she felt the bird go limp. She opened her hand stared in horror at the dead bird. Her desperate clutching love had killed him.

She noticed the other bird teteering on the edge of the cage. She could feel his great need for freedom. His need to soar into the clear, blue sky. She lifted him from the cage and tossed him softly into the air. The bird circled once, twice, three times.

The girl watched delighted at the bird’s enjoyment. Her heart was no longer concerned with her loss. She wanted the bird to be happy. Suddenly the bird flew closer and landed softly on her shoulder. It sang the sweetest melody, she had ever heard.

The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tight, the best way to keep love is to give it — WINGS!

A New Pair of Shoes
by: Author Unknown, Rainbow Garden

When I got sober my sponsor told me that I had to be willing to change everything about my life — everything. So, I wore bluejeans and switched to slacks. I wore western shirts and switched to T-shirts. But the one thing I just couldn’t give up was my cowboy boots.

I went to my sponsor and said, “Surely I won’t get drunk over a silly pair of cowboy boots. I’m willing to change a lot of things, and if needed I could even give up those boots, but it seems so silly.”

My sponsor said, “I don’t know how silly it is, or if you’ll get drunk over those cowboy boots, but I can tell that you are not ‘entirely’ willing, though.”

“Okay, okay,” I said. “I’ll prove it to you. I’ll give up the boots for 30 days just to demonstrate my willingness to God.”

So, I bought a pair of tennis shoes, and after 30 days of not wearing my cowboy boots, wearing tennis shoes instead, the strangest thing happened — my feet stopped hurting.

That’s how it was getting sober and giving up the high life. I never stopped to think that the boots were causing my feet to hurt, or the booze was causing my life to hurt. I got willing to give up the stuff, one day at a time, for 30 days, then 60 days, then 90 days … and my life stopped hurting.

And everyday I do something different, some change in some small way. Maybe I just put my socks on different, or drive to work a new way. Everyday, I try to do Little Things in a Big Way so that when Big Things happen I can handle them in a Little Way.

To a woman who complained about her destiny the Master said, “It is you who make your destiny.”

“But surely I am not responsible for being born a woman?”

“Being born a woman isn’t destiny. That is fate. Destiny is how you accept your womanhood and what you make of it.”

Two Types of People
by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown

There are two types of people in this world.

The first is internally-motivated; they set goals for themselves and push themselves towards their goals on their own. This group of people are usually those who do not believe in religions.

The second group is one that is externally-motivated; they rely on external motivation – religion, the promise of reward etc. This group of people are usually those who firmly believes in religion.

Working with the different groups require a slightly different approach to the task. When working with the latter group, all you have to do is reward him or her with something. Praise him or her. When working with the former group, put him in comparison with another person who is weaker than him or her. He or she would do the rest.

There are many cases of talents & potential being wasted, just because they did not develop it further. I heard of this student whose mother allowed him to go out with his friends only once a year. Of course, he’s a GPA-4 student. But he has close-to-zero social lifestyle, and any talents he might have would be lost. Perhaps he is good at drawing? Playing piano?

So depending on which group you belong to, you can do different things to self-motivate yourself. For the former group, start comparing yourself with weaker peers (but don’t get too big-headed). For the latter group, start writing down the praises that others gave you.

Remember, your brain is a powerful thing. You definitely have a talent. If you’ve discovered it, don’t waste it. Motivate yourself to develop it further. For those of you who haven’t discovered it, don’t be discouraged. You will find it one day.
